Hogan à ''Wrestlemania 23'': les négociations s'annoncent mouvementées Dans une entrevue reproduite sur certains sites américains, Hulk Hogan parle de son avenir à la WWE.
Avec "Wrestlemania 23" qui arrive (à Detroit, soit 20 ans après la tenue de "Wrestlemania III" dans la même ville), Hogan aimerait bien participer à cet événement majeur.
Il avoue que bien que sa relation avec Vince McMahon ne soit pas toujours facile, Hogan profitera qu'actuellement ça aille bien pour lui demander un match à "Wrestlemania". Les deux hommes se sont d'ailleurs rencontrés cette semaine dans ce but.

DOVER, Del.—Go ahead and read that writing on the wall about Hulk Hogan’s last match coming at WrestleMania XXIII.
With the 20th anniversary of WrestleMania III looming next April 1 in Detroit—the place Hogan staged his epic battle with Andre the Giant before an announced crowd of 93,173 in the Pontiac Silverdome—you couldn’t write a better storyline for Hogan’s swan song.
Sunday, the Hulkster did nothing to quell the anticipation.
“I’d love to have a bunch of matches left, but realistically, I’m [53] years old,” said Hogan, in Delaware to serve as grand marshal for Sunday’s Dover 400 NASCAR race. “But if there was one big match I’d love to wrestle, it would be [next] year at WrestleMania, because it’s back in Detroit. Twenty years ago I slammed Andre the Giant….So if there’s only one left, I’d love it to be that one.”
Hogan admitted that his meeting with Vince McMahon last Thursday at WWE headquarters in Stamford, Conn. included talk about making a WrestleMania appearance happen—if the two can get along.
“There were two reasons to have the meeting,” Hogan revealed. “The first reason was to try to see if Vince and I could keep working together because we’re hot and cold. We’re friends, and then we hate each other. It’s been that way since his dad [promoter Vince McMahon Sr.] passed away.
“So, right now we’re on good terms, and one of the things we talked about was me getting back to work in January, what kind of physical shape my knees are in, if I needed to be cut on right away, and the possibilities of wrestling in Detroit.” By “cut on,” Hogan meant surgery that he will need at some point on his right knee.
Hogan also wants to keep things positive with the WWE chairman in order to push daughter Brooke’s singing aspirations. (She sang the national anthem for the NASCAR race Sunday, and her album, Undiscovered, is available for download this Tuesday and in stores on Oct. 24). Hogan described McMahon as “committed” to using his media platform to help Brooke’s career succeed.
Hogan sees several reasons to make one more go at it, including honoring Andre and giving WWE a centerpiece star he said has not consistently been there over the years.
“If we’re talking realistically, I shouldn’t do this anymore,” Hogan said of returning to the squared circle. “But the truth is [WWE] hasn’t really found anybody larger than life. The Rock was [on top] for two years and Stone Cold [Steve Austin] lasted three years, but I’ve been like the Richard Petty for the last 30 years in wrestling. If I ever had the chance to do the retro-nostalgic to honor a friend of mine, if I could wrestle in Detroit it would be the ultimate respect being paid to Andre the Giant.”
Notes: Hogan admitted that when guest-starring on The A-Team he usually had to serve as a referee because Mr. T and George Peppard (Hannibal) hated each other. He was offered a full-time gig on the show but “was so stressed out after being between those two idiots that I went back to wrestling.” Hulk described his own acting as “horrible.”…The Press asked Hogan about the benefits of the WWE Talent Wellness Program. He didn’t address the substance-abuse issue, but did say, “I guess it’s good. Maybe guys won’t be as crippled up as I am.” That said, he questioned the toughness of today’s grapplers, saying, “Now, if you break a hangnail, you get, like, eight weeks off.”…Expounding on his sometimes-strained relationship with McMahon, Hogan said of meeting with him, “Either we’re going to talk, or we’re going to move furniture. Because it’s happened before.”...Hogan said if he had to choose a NASCAR driver as a tag-team partner, he'd select Tony Stewart and that they'd be bad guys.

La TNA s'est attaché les services de Kurt Angle et benificiera désormais d'une nouvelle case horaire sur Spike TV le jeudi soir de 9 à 10pm à compter du 16 novembre.
Ce n'est pas le retour des Monday Night Wars, mais c'est une bonne nouvelle pour la compagnie...

Un ''RAW'' spécial de trois heures! USANetwork.com (le site du réseau américain) nous apprend que le 9 octobre, "RAW" durera trois heures.
De 20 h à 23 h sur USA Network, on pourra donc voir le spécial "WWE: The Raw Family Reunion" qui célébrera le 1er anniversaire du retour de "RAW" à ce réseau.
Lorsqu'on saura si The Score emboîte le pas ou non, on vous confirmera le tout.

Quelques nouvelles sur Kurt Angle à la TNA Les rumeurs sur Kurt Angle et la MMA n'étaient que de la fumée pour cacher la véritable nouvelle sur son arrivée à la TNA. Le vidéo présenté hier a été tourné dans le plus grand secret, dans un entrepôt à Nashville.
Des lutteurs locaux, qui ont monté le ring pour ce vidéo, ont même dû signer un document légal leur interdisant de vendre la mèche. Et le personnel de la TNA a su 15 minutes avant le PPV qu'Angle joint la compagnie.

Le site Web de la TNA a flanché plusieurs fois hier soir, tellemet la nouvelle sur Kurt Angle a soulevé l'intérêt! Celui d'Angle a été mis à jour, traitant de l'arrivée du lutteur à cette compagnie.
